Muasdale Holiday Park
Muasdale Holiday Park is a picturesque campsite located midway between the towns of Tarbert and Campbelltown. With unobstructed views of the sea and the Isles of Islay, Jura and Gingha…scenery seekers will be more than happy here.
This small and peaceful campsite is only steps away from a white sandy beach, making it the perfect place to sit back and relax whilst taking in the unspoiled views.
Things to do
Our top tip for visiting Muasdale Holiday Park would be to pack your binoculars and camera, as the area boasts an abundance of wildlife; from seals and otters in the surrounding water and seabird’s overhead.
Ferries to the Isles of Jura and Islay (famous for their whiskey) are only a short drive from the site if you want to spend a few days exploring. You’ll also find the Glenbarr Abbey Clan MacAlister visitor centre nearby too.
Loch Ness Shores

With stunning scenery and panoramic views of Loch Ness (perfect for Nessie spotting), Loch Ness Shores makes the ideal location for a holiday in the Scottish Highlands.
The facilities at the site are eco friendly and green technologies are used for the heating and lighting too. And it’s not just camping that’s catered for here. If you’re looking for a touch of luxury you can stay in the stylish wigwam cabins.
Things to do
There’s plenty to keep you entertained around Scotland’s most famous Loch. From trips to the Charming towns and villages of Fort Augustus, Cannich and Drumnadrochit or you can explore the area’s historic sites such as the majestic Urquhart Castle.
There are plenty of opportunities if you’re looking for outdoor activities from hiking and cycling to canoeing and fishing (boats and canoes are available to hire on the site).

Located on the outskirts of Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh, you have everything the city has to offer right on your doorstep. You are also surrounded by the beautiful East Lothian countryside, just waiting to be discovered.
The park itself has some excellent sea views, a children’s play area and laundry facilities. You’ll also find pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, as well as luxury holiday lodges, bothys and the octolodges, which are an alternative to camping.
Things to do
With Edinburgh only a 20-minute drive away, entertainment will not be in short supply. There’s Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile – plus all the bars restaurants and shops that a city centre offers.
If you need a break from the hustle and bustle then there’s plenty to explore in the surrounding countryside. Drummohr Holiday Park is located on the John Muir Way giving you the chance to stretch your legs as you take in the scenery. If you like a spot of golf then there’s also the Royal Musselburgh Golf Course close by.
