WHAT DO I NEED TO GET A QUOTE?

For us to give you an insurance quote for your campervan there are a few things that you’ll need at hand:

• The make, model, registration number and approximate value of your campervan.
• Names and details of any additional drivers you want to be included.
• Information about your insurance history, including any claims or eligibility for any no claims discounts.

WHAT TYPES OF CAMPERVAN INSURANCE POLICIES ARE AVAILABLE?

Our campervan cover is similar to that of a car. Here at Staveley Head, we offer three main types of campervan insurance cover:

• Laid Up Cover – this insurance will cover your vehicle for accidental damage, fire and theft if you have declared your vehicle under Statutory Off Road Notice (SORN).
• Third Party, Fire and Theft – this type of insurance will pay money to a person who suffers loss or damage caused by you in an accident. It will also pay if your car is stolen or damaged in a fire.
• Comprehensive – this type of insurance covers you for third party, fire and theft, and will also cover your vehicle should it be lost or damaged in an accident.

WHAT MAKES AND MODELS CAN BE COVERED?

At Staveley Head, we’re able to offer cover for all makes and models of campervan, from Japanese imports to classic campervans. We are also able to provide cover for self-conversion projects based on almost any vehicle base (subject to an engineer’s report, valuation and photographs).

Many campervans come with lots of equipment included, that’s why as part of your policy we provide cover for items that are standard fitting such as; camping equipment, awnings, generators and audio/visual equipment whilst inside or attached to your campervan.
